Adventure Travel Trip Winners – Study and Go Abroad Fair
Congratulations to the Winners of the Grand Prize Draws!! All visitors at the fairs in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto were entered into a Grand Prize Draw. The lucky prizewinners were:
Corey Whelan – winner of the 2-week Environmental Awareness Project volunteer trip to Nicaragua, offered by Travel CUTS.
Joanne Napolitano – winner of the 4-week Thai Adventure trip, offered by Real Gap Experience
Wendy Chow wins a $250 voucher towards a Greenheart Travel Program (work/ volunteer/teach abroad).
This grand prize draw tops off a busy week for fair goers and exhibitors. Enthusiastic students and visitors filled the seminars and isles of exhibitors during the one day Study and Go Abroad Fairs that launched in Vancouver March 3rd, then moved to Montreal and concluded in Toronto March 6th.
Fairs opened with Jean-Marc Hachey’s seminar on “Developing Global Career Skills While Traveling” to a full house every time, even presenting twice in Montreal. The free seminars were a hit with attendees who attended presentations on “The Spirit of Creative Business – Study it in Finland”, from the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, “Let the World Change You!” from NGO, Child Family Health International (CFHI), “Destination Down Under” from University of Melbourne and Bond University, from Travel CUTs, “Working Holidays – SWAP Abroad”, studying medicine in the Caribbean Island of Curaçao from Avalon University School of Medicine and studying in the UK from Study Across the Pond.
Following the success of the Spring fairs for global education and travel, we are now busy planning for the Fall and will be including Ottawa and Calgary for the first time.
